The super-exclusive, super-expensive supercar unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show seamlessly blends top-shelf luxury with race-car engineering to create what may be the finest automobile the quintessentially British firm has ever produced.Of course, for $1.4 million, it damn well ought to be.Aston Martin spared no expense with the One-77, so named because just 77 will be hand built at the factory in Gaydon, and says it represents the culmination of all the company has learned since its founding in 1913.

Produced between 2001-2007 Aston Martin Vanquish is a grand tourer and it is known as the official “James Bond” car in “Die Another Day” (was choosen the 3th best movie cars ever). It is provided with a 6.0 L V12 engine which produces 460 hp, reaches a top speed of 315 km/h and achives 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds. A powerfull model is Vanquish S which enjoys the same engine but produces 520 hp and reaches a top speed of 328 km/h. The body structure of the Aston Martin Vanquish is made of carbon fibers, aluminum and composite materials. Because of the criticism that has been brought to its gearbox for several years, in 2007 the gearbox has been changed with a Tremec T-56 6-speed full-manual, but was available only for the last 40 cars built.1-aston-martin-vanquish-s-ultimate-edition
